A412, Romanian HF Transceiver

Those are one of the latest versions of the well known HF transceivers around Romanian ham radio operators. The name of this home made rig is A412 and from the initial schematic thru the time he got few improvements like digital frequency display, PLL, and other features.
He was used mostly before 1989 in some hard moments when industrial rigs like Yaesu, Kenwood was almost impossible to get in the communist country that was Romania in those times.
Now this transceiver is a part of our ham radio history and it’s still used by some enthusiasts just for the fun of it.
More info (in Romanian language) and some more pictures with different versions of this rig canĀ  can be found on http://yo9hsw.ro/a412/
