Baliza din 5450 Khz despre care v-am tot spus ca apartine marinei de fapt se pare ca este un beacon al avitatiei din “United Kindom”, mai exact UK Royal Air Force Volmet.  Vocea pe care o auziti este sintetizata automat de un calculator si poate fi ascultata in special noaptea pe 5450 si 11253 Khz USB.

In imaginea de jos, cica asa ar arata sistemul de antene folosite si pentru 5450… (sursa:  rosestone.me.uk)

Apropo de a doua frecventa a UK Royal Air Force Volmet, cea de 11253 Khz se auzea foarte bine pe la ora 10:30 min, spre deosebire (bineinteles) de frecventele de mai jos care merg cel mai bine noaptea. Receptia “matinala” a acestei balize in 11 Mhz poate fi urmarita mai jos.

Din cate mi-am dat eu seama, informatiile pe care aceasta le repeta sunt:

QNH = Air pressure
NO SIG = No significant change.

Am mai gasit o baliza asemanatoare in 3413 Khz USB, numita Shannon Volmet. In videoclipul de mai jos puteti urmari receptia acesteia.  Lafel de clar se auzea si pe a doua frecventa utilizata de  Shannon mai exact pe 5505 Khz USB.

PS: Receptia a fost facuta cu o antena  pseudo dipol amplasat in balcon “calculat” pentru banda de 11m.
